Gamy Seva Sangthan was started with amount Rs9,000/- in 2002. With a vision to improve physical condition of polio affected children after camps arranged at Rapar. 100 diagnosed children were to send Bhavnagar for Polio corrective surgery.
Fund for this work was raised easily. With reference to this treatment a Physiotherapy centre was needed at Rapar. In the Polio operation camp of 2003-2004 along with disability certification camp one more fact was revealed i.e. Training centre for mentally retarded children was necessary for the children of Rapar and surrounding rural area. Right from 2004 the need for a permanent building for institution was the first need for future treatments and care taking of disabled persons of rural area. In 2004 a request to Government was made for 80,000 sq.ft. Land.
After establishment of the institute the trustees Shri Ratanshibhai Dhanji Gada, Devjibhai Govar Gada, Mansukhbhai Rathod and all other were helping to raise funds for the institute. The Deputy president of the institute Shri Hajabhai Madevabhai Bhopa and Devjibhai Govar Gada inspired Shri Ratanshibhai Dhanji Gada to donate funds for purchase of land at Rapar and also initiated to collect funds for developing the campus of the institute.
Shri Amarshi Harakhchand Gada(Mumbai) donated funds for purchase of land by inspiration of Ratanshibhai Dhanji Gada and 80,000 sq.ft. land was allotted to the institute. Virambhai Satra -Adhoi, presently residing at Mumbai took responsibility of construction work, and the work of construction started in mid-2006. In the end of 2006 Ratnshibhai left this world.
Family members of Ratanshibhai and Virjibhai and Bharatbhai Ratanshi Gada decided to raise the institute by their own funds as Shri Ratanshibhai Gada was emotionally attached with the institute. With permission of Shri Pravinbhai Virambgai Gada the trustees handed over the responsibility to Shri Bharatbhai Virjibhai. In the end of 2008 the construction of 22,000 sq.ft was completed where 5 classrooms, 2 halls, kitchen, staff quarters, guest rooms, water tank, gaushala and compound wall.
In 2007 Shri Bharatbhai left this world, so Shri Virjibhai completed rest of the construction work. Looking to the dedication and emotional attachment of this family the campus was named as....".MATUSHRI PARVATIBEN RATANSHI DHANJI GADA SEVA SANKUL"
